How to Add Sparkle to Your Life

With Unicorn Leather from Sallie Tomato! This iridescent wonder fabric is soft and pliable. It's vegan vinyl that is perfect for pouches, bags, and more! 

We supplied a roll (measuring 18” x 25”) of it to one of our StitchCrafters to make a sample. She made five—out of one sheet! Clever and resourceful, she also shared the free patterns she used so we can share with them with you.

Up first, this Open Wide Zippered Pouch from noodlehead. Its bottom sits flat so you can look for all your goodies with ease. Plus, it’s beautifully lined with Kaffe Fassett fabric.

Next, a front zippered coin purse and a unicorn leather-trimmed zippered pouch from Polka Dot Chair lined with peppy polka dot fabric. 

From the scraps of these three pieces came a simple top zippered pouch finished with a swath of sweet unicorn fabric.

And the last bit a simple credit card style case, no pattern just craftiness, and a button closure.

The ‘wrong side’ of the unicorn is so soft you may not need an additional lining—like with the credit card case. Our guest sewist used her pinking shears, zippers, select fabric pieces, and her creative genius to make these five pieces.
