New Year. New Craft.

Posted by Johanna Fox on

We’ve been talking about this here at StitchCraft. It’s a new year, what new crafts can we introduce? What new classes or demonstrations can we make about those crafts? We know we can’t be the only ones who cross-craft.

Cross-crafting

We know that stitchers can be quilters. And quilters can be knitters. And crocheters may want to try Sashiko. And that paper crafters also like to use watercolors.

With this idea in mind, we aim to shine a light on all our crafting options for all the makers out there.

Have you wanted to try different types of yarn? We have a few Yarn Tasting Kits still available. These kits feature Berroco and offer a sampling of different fibers and weights.

Or maybe you’ve heard of Sashiko but haven’t yet tried it. If you can do a running stitch, you’ve got this. We have a selection of panels, threads, templates, and kits to get you started.

Or have you always wanted to try a skill building block quilt using solids? We’ve got that, too. Check out this My Favorite Color is Moda block of month program in two different colorways.

Just One Thing

The new year is a great time to try just one new thing. What have you always wanted to try? Tell us in the comments below. We love to read them!
