Posted by Johanna Fox on
Hello and welcome back! It's Week 4of the Holidays in July Quilt Along, if you are just now joining us, here's a snapshot of where we're headed and what we've been up to:
Week 1 - July 12th: Select and cut fabric
Week 2 - July 19th: Sew seven blocks
Week 3 - July 26th: Sew seven blocks
Week 4 - August 2nd: Sew seven blocks
Week 5 - August 9th: Sew seven blocks
Week 6 - August 16th: Sew seven blocks
Week 7 - August 23rd: Sew rows and assemble top
WEEK 4: SEW SEVEN BLOCKS
Wow! We've seen loads of beautiful trees out there! And some of you have already sewn rows together as well.
For those that may be moving at a different pace, we wanted to share one great idea this week of what you can do with some tree blocks. That is the ever-faithful table runner.
We made this one with batiks in fall colors. It could be because we are ready for some cooler temps here in South Florida. Or it could be that we enjoyed the way these batiks came together in this row.
Either way our fall table will be looking sweet!
Do you normally decorate for every season? Tell us in the comments (we promise we have them activated this time!)
NEED THE BLOCK PATTERN?
The block pattern is here: it's a free downloadable template from Cluck Cluck Sew!
